IMO the bronze looks good w/ black, a nice contrast but not out of place.
Only change I'd consider would be black lug nuts and something w/ the wheel center caps, would look good if you could bronze the centers but make the Infiniti logo black. Would take some regular gloss black paint on the whole center cap, then some detailing tape over the dried black logo, then use your bronze dip on the rest of the center cap. Would be a bit extra labor but would be a nice finishing touch there.
All labor here is a labor of love. Definitely like the suggestions. I'll toy around with a few options and see what shakes out.

I think you're right about the lugs. Black is a must. I've kept some subtle chrome trim on the car. So, maybe black lugs, bronze caps and chrome Infiniti logos on the caps? Trying to keep one simple chrome touch on all 4 sides.

Man it looks good. Really liking the 3m wood, and the bronze on black looks great! Keep it up!

Finished up the chrome delete on the grill today. The top and bottom framing bars on the grill are now wrapped in 3M Matte Copper Metallic.

Nice look IMO, but now your headlights are out of place, I'm fairly certain headlight mods were on your to-do list but no time to confirm, lol.
Get those headlight housing painted black w/ some copper accents would flow well, and if you do happen to crack open those lights be sure to upgrade to the TSXr lens from theretrofitsource.com
Happy New Year Ryan!

Thanks! Same to you Brad.

Yep. Headlights are on deck. Nothing like throwing $1600 into the oven. But, it'll be hugely impactful. I'm considering black housing and matte copper bezels. I'm not electrically inclined. But, it'd be nice to do the porsche GTS, four point LED running lights. But, if it's doable, I'll consider it. The whole halo or angel eyes look is getting WAY overdone. But, I wouldn't be opposed to something like it.

Yeah, that Panamera 4 light set is sweet, and agree on the halos. Like I said, be SURE to change out those lenses, that's the best $50 you can spend IME.
Also you are doing some nice DIY, I'd also DIY those lights, time consuming but not hard.

Was going to check out theretrofitsource.com but their site has been down all night. Not a good sign.

I'm fairly certain the vert uses the same as the coupe (2.5" lens) so the TSX-r is it
https://www.theretrofitsource.com/co...l#.VofRrVkp_KQ
Otherwise the bigger Sedan lens is the STiR, just need to confirm
https://www.theretrofitsource.com/co...l#.VofSKlkp_KQ
And here's the best way to seal them back up
https://www.theretrofitsource.com/ac...l#.VofSdFkp_KQ
And a lens spacer kit to fine tune the cutoff, I would space them out a bit further than OEM, you'll be glad you did

Awesome Brad! Thank you. Links worked perfectly. I'll be ordering the lot. I'm taking some inspiration from oneighty. But, I've got a few different ideas for some of the finer details. Looking forward to this project.

Quick question: Do I need to use high temp paint? I'd rather not as the color spectrum is quite limited. But, black and copper shouldn't be too hard to find.

I didn't use any high temp paint and it's held up fine, looks just like day 1. Might want to consider using adhesion promoter though, that's what I did.

Awesome. I'll pick up some adhesion promoter. There are many subtle intricacies of these lights. Looking very much forward to working on them.

Triniti - OB Vert Build

Build plans need to combine a number of aspects in order to come together at the same time.

Picked up the 2010 Sport Bumper with chrome blanks for Fog Lights and a set of Aeroflow Dynamics Splitters. I wasn't planning on putting in fogs and feel like halos are getting really played out. So, I bought fogs with halos. Yep. You read that right. I realize how ridiculous that sounds. But, fuggit. Hope they look decent.

Here's how I got there. I like the E Class L shaped LEDs. Thought they might be reasonable. But, the shape just wasn't right for the rounded space in the bumper. I threw in the towel after removing the chrome fog surround and two piece plastic filler only to see the space was absolutely meant to be used exclusively with round lights no matter my liking the E Class LEDs. I have little to no need for fog lights. So, if I'm not using fogs there might as well be a reason to fill the blanks. 3 1/8 diameter fogs with halos might be the trick. I guess I won't turn them on if I don't particularly like them. At least the space will be filled.

So, bumper, fogs and splitter will go on together. Looking forward to seeing everything come together in the front.

Hoping to get the dash and trim done this coming weekend. While I've got the dash off I'll install the PanaVise Custom InDash Mount for the Infiniti G35/G37/EX/FX. Model #: 75130-509. I also picked up the PortaGrip phone holder with AMPS adapter plate.Â*

This will undoubtedly make the phone more accessible, easier at which to glance and a nice location to run Pandora and the Torque App connected to the OBD II.

Dash Plaque has been delivered. I'll post a pic when I pick it up this evening. It'll be installed with the new Ebony Metallic Wood. It will go in the space between the ashtray and the climate control cluster.

UPDATE: Plaque looks really good. I'm having another made in brushed stainless with black lettering. But, the fit is perfect. A unique touch to signify the custom work being done on the vert. Just test fitting. The plaque will go on after the Ebony Metallic Wood is done. Brushed will likely look better.

UPDATE 2: Trimmed out the plaque in rose gold to better conform with the rest of the interior.

UPDATE 3 Rose gold wasn't doing it. Reworked the trim in Ebony Metallic Wood. It should blend more seamlessly.
