De-Badged the "INFINITI". I also removed the "G37" after this shot. Down to Mt Fuji and "xS" now.

 

Looks good, although I'd just leave the Fuji to have symmetry (and one less thing to detail around) and those big brakes will let others know you have the S

The new R2C intake tubes are in. Weird thing---I went to start the car after installing the tubes, but I had the engine cover off. Car started but ran like ****---low idle, fluctuating rpms, etc. I heard a strong vacuum leak and when I stuck my head under the hood it seemed to be coming from the thread holes for the cover bolts. Turned the car off and reinstalled the cover. Started back up and ran like a champ. Hmm.

I still have to fix the foglight.

The LED bulbs I used in the turn signals were an older type---25LED large bulb. They were not very bright especially during the day. So I bought these ebay units:


2XLED Tail Light for Chevrolet 2014 7443 7440 W21W T20 6 CREE XBD 30W High Power | eBay


I know it says Chevy, but the important part is the 7443 designation.

These bulbs have the Cree XBD LEDs with a rear firing projector and side LEDS to fill out the tail light lenses. Very bright indeed!

 

Hands down, my favorite mod EVER! Had one on my Acura and really missed it on my G. No more.

I followed this DIY and it was accurate to the tee!
