Yes I'm doing the exterior mods (all of them except changing the rear bumper. But I don't have to worry about scraping BC I'm only going with the swift springs for drop. Mainly to eliminate wheel gap. I figure with $5000 worth of wheels tires, plus all the other mods I've paid for...the car deserves to be gapless.

Your upcoming mods sound though out and reasonable. Good luck

Swift springs should be a perfect set-up for your car, and I hear they help out the handling pretty well too! Can't wait to see it with all the mods on, gonna look even more sick! And you're absolutely right about closing that gap, relatively cheap in the grand scheme of mods

Thanks Dnovz41!! I'm hoping the swifts provide just enough of a drop to give the car that special look that the low low cars have without giving me an ulcer while I drive over bumps or angled driveways etc.

I talked to swift yesterday and they admit they don't make any springs that are meant for convertibles....but they did say they personally know of "a few" verts that are using them with success.

Love the new pic above ^^^ btw

Thanks Redfire! I'm currently running KW coils that were made for the coupe, but they work perfectly fine on my car. Took the "risk" of running outside rec and it worked out. I bet you could get away with running swift's and be OK. I definitely don't run a slammed setup by any means so driving on bumps is ok, I just take it a little slower than normal. Checked out your build thread and love what you're doing. I literally haven't seen a single convertible in my area, so it's fun to come on here and see a sweet build. Yours sounds amazing too, I like that video where you took it around the corner!

I don't know why many of the coilover manufacturers list only the coupe for their applications as ALL 07-08 G35 Sedans, 09-current G37/Q40 Sedans, and ALL 08 to current G37/Q60 coupes have the same coilover fit

Guess they think only coupes have all the fun

BTW, great shots of your G, cool all the subtle differences you see in different lighting/angles.

Haha you are right Brad, and the reason why I decided to "risk" it with mine since we knew it'd be a perfect fit! And thanks! It's my chameleon car now i guess. Overcast weather, angry look. Sunny weather, shiny look

Sexy car! I'm really digging the wrapped trim. I'm gonna have to look into doing that.
