Interior LEDs:

Picked up some Diode Dynamics from EnYcee-G who just keeps giving me killer deals, installed them last night and got some comparison pics.

Yeah if you don't watch yourself around EnYcee-G you'll be getting such great deals that you'll start buying mods you don't need or already have. He such a nice guy and offered me such a great price (even threw in a $35 birthday discount believe it or not) that I nearly ended up buying a set of racing lugs even tho I already have some lol. What worse is I still may but them. Big props to EnYcee as a premium seller

He's the man. He sold me the Takeda CAI and came by my house and installed it with me. I would've had a ton of trouble with the install otherwise, but having him there made it super easy. I think we finished under 2 hours. Great guy!

Grille:

So my lights are currently 1000 miles away from me being modified and painted black, so I decided to paint my grille in my downtime. The bumper was already off for the lights so I pulled the grille off and painted it with plastidip, then clear coated it with plasti dip glossifier. I think it came out pretty nice.

Haha, yeah sorry about that. I don't like resizing them. Maybe I'll start...

Just don't take them down to the mini mini size. I love lots of pics but I hate having to click on them to enlarge. The Instagram copy/paste method works great for me.

I noticed that with your posts, I'll probably adopt that method soon. They're a good size that way.

Yeah, I unfortunately never get garage access so this worked well. I taped off the end of the headlight wires (where they plug into the lights) then used the grocery bags with painters tape.

It's been raining non-stop in NYC and the plugs still seem dry, and I've had the lights out for 2 and a half weeks now.

Cats:

So the absolute last engine mod I wanted to do before my tune was get some HFC's. I'm getting a tune within the coming weeks so the search was on. I found a set of Stillen HFC's on here for $250 and snatched them up quick. Then came the install process...

Passenger side took me 1 hour, relatively straight forward. But when I got to the driver's side, I encountered my new nemesis, the demon bolt (google it). I've never had a bolt that was such a pain in my *** in my life. 3 hours of torching and trying to break it did nothing. I put a TON of PB Blaster on it and let it sit overnight. Tried again this morning and NOTHING.

I cut the son of a bitch right off by the upper flange and STILL couldn't get the bolt out. I torched it and broke it off with a hammer. 6 hours spent on one bolt, but now my HFC's are in and HOLY ****

My car sounds like a jet engine now, it's scary loud. Butt dyno doesn't notice too much in terms of improvement because I'm intoxicated by the sound. I don't have any pics but I'm gonna try to get a video soon.
