Turbotwiggs's Slow Build Thread
Nice ride man! I had an 06' STI back in 2007 and I had to trade it as part of my agreement with the judge for my divorce! Had to get a "family vehicle" to which I got a 2004 Nissan Maxima. Drove that thing for well over 100,000 miles before trading it. I had an Acura TL right before my 10' G37x sedan I just got in December and the power difference reminds me of the jump I originally felt from a Honda Accord to the STI! I'm subbed for the pics and progress dude. I gotta live vicariously through you till my wife loosens the purse strings!

Thank you and I know what you mean lol. I seemed to get lucky the past few months. But here soon gotta start focusing on house stuff again so it will slow down but ya I love the power in this thing and can't wait to put in more. It's also a nice classy upgrade from the sti in my opinion.

True story.... Gotta decide what I want to do... Still really liking the idea of some 18x9" enkei rpf-1's with some wide tires. Always loved the track look but I also love the look of 19's and 20's on these cars too
Can anyone tell me how well these things do with the bigger wheels on them? Maybe even in autocross events?

I'm running 19's, they are Avant Garde M368. I will tell you this, if you want the track feel of light wheels but a fender filling rim face, go with a light weight set of rims in 19". There are others out there that are light, but I just know from driving mine that they feel like the 17" stockers but with mad grip.
Warning*I need a drop!

Nice thread, Im not a fan of the black and blue scheme. In my opinion, the grills need to be painted black, I would have have kept chrome door trim chrome or maybe black, and paint the CF hood came color as the car. I can't wait to see the final product.

^^^ you probably hate read like I do lol but yes all these things have been talked about and the only thing I can say is... "One game at a time, Ralph." Lol I love that movie, anyways on with the pic. Got the grills all done so I think the front end is good to go now. The vinyl is in for the window trim so that will probably be next weekend.
Let me know what y'all think....

TT have you considered swapping the amber bulbs in your lights? It's a VERY minor thing I'm mentioning especially with all the other work you've done (which I'm still digging BTW) but as I look at the front end shot I wonder how different it would look without that amber tint.
I'm just as guilty. Heck I bought LEDs and just haven't done them yet.
