Turbotwiggs's Slow Build Thread
While I do agree with some of Viet's points made, I also realize that this is not OUR ride so of course only YOU know best for what you want. Only thing we can do is give our advice of what we think would look good but ultimately it's your ride. And I applaud you for taking our criticism so positively. =)
Take your time wrapping the window trim, rushing it will cause you to get small wrinkles when your trying to tuck into the top rubber pieces. You'll have to tuck little by little. =) Ask Brad or me for any tips, I followed his diy and helped alot.
Glad to see you got your springs, its going to really change the look for the better!

^same here, but I can certainly appreciate the originality!
I like how the OP puts SLOW in the title, yet he's repainted the entire car, changed body panels, coilovers, intakes, etc. etc.
If you're slow, I'm downright glacial
(after 6mo of ownership, just did tints and some LEDs, lol)

Well I thought it was gonna be slow but.... Ya coming from my sti I had to make this car to the point that I don't regret selling it as much lol. And here soon it's going to come to a slow or even halt for a while. Gotta start paying it off so I can go supercharger afterward

Soooooo ya spent a looooong time last night trying to figure out how to do the front springs last night because every DIY I could find was for the RWD only. So after we figured out the first front one ( took a few hours with drinking in between) <BAD idea.... The other side only took about 5 minutes. So I just need to install them later and I will take pics to post.

Just ordered some neo chrome lug nuts because somehow the guy that painted the car ruined at least 7 of the originals by stripping the outsides.... I was so pissed when I tried taking them off!!
Whatever if it's broken upgrade it lol.

Weird that he didn't say anything. I'm sure you would have thanked him for telling you, then bought replacements and just moved on. Hmm.
yep, did that once and it wasn't good. took me about 10 min to get the lugnut out of the socket

Ok got all springs on and the car is down. I got the lug nuts to work until the new ones come in. Il take some pics of it in the morning. It looks really good but definately needs spacers or new rims... Got my sights on some nice 18's for a good price but we will see what happens there

Not sure what I want yet. Still liking the idea of some super lightweight 18" wheels but we will see what happens, suggestions are definately welcome in this department but I don't have 2-3 k to be spending on rims either
