Normally I hate on red calipers, but maroon (merlot ) would look great. I agree.

Hmm isn't dark maroon the one on the upper right by any chance? If that's the case then that might not be a bad idea, would go well against the color of the tails... And just like John said, I'm usually not a fan of red calipers at least not on our cars but the top right looks pretty good...

Thank you, appreciate it. No the S badge on the trunk is the OEM S badge, it comes like that sir.

Ahhh, another item to ponder, I like this web of mystery you're weaving Mike
Lightweight forged, concave aggressive, 5 spoke, split spoke, my mind's racing

Not too many members (in the Sedan forum, at least) go all in with high-end, lightweight, two-piece forged rims. The expense is easily 4X over cast aluminum, and at the end of the day it's still just a heavy, mid-range sport(ish) sedan.

But if you do it, you certainly earn bragging rights over the crowd. Remember Robert_K?

Yes I do remember Robert_K , who got himself a CTS-V... did he ever get to sell his 4K rims?? and I would want forged possibly two-piece lightweight rims but they're just wayyy too much for a 22 year old's budget I mean it's possible, anything's possible, but not easy. I actually would love to get some lightweight forged wheels to save some unsprung weight...

Brad these SSR's are FFT - Flow Forming Technology and as far as I know this means they are NOT Forged? I mean I don't think there is anything that's forged in let's say 2.5k budget maybe used Advan which I do like and I do like them even more if they are lightweight ! and then a question comes up in my mind, if it ever came to some forged, lightweight wheels... Would I still opt out for 19s or 20s ( only if they are lightweight and forged )

I see absolutely nothing wrong with compromising weight for style, particularly if it's something you really, really like. Of course, I say that with rationalized hindsight about my Vossens.

My point being, those SSR rims are beautiful, man.

For example I like these : https://www.myg37.com/forums/private...rz-wheels.html

Advan Racing RZ but given they are:

19x9 +25
19x10 +25

They might be too aggressive for my sedan with the given offsets too, then comes too much negative camber to make them fit? and then comes the problem of eating up tires unevenly but man these wheels look sick ! and AFAIK they are light weight too !

And Yes John they are beautiful yet not as appealing when on the car... wondering what is the weight on those

...and IMO damned expensive for a one-piece cast rim, used even.

That design is very similar tp Enkei's RSM9, which can be had less expensive new. And at really light weights. (20 lbs for a 19x9 rim.)

Yeah, I wasn't posting those SSRs as an example of a forged set, just an example of a quality wheel at a reasonable price that would look pretty nice on your ride

SSR Wheels - SSR GTV03
Yep, those Advans would be nice, and the price is very good (should have been long gone by now). If you had a coupe those would work fine but w/ your sedan you'd have a lot of work to do to make them fit, and compromise tread wear as well.
Here's a list of the weights on the SSRs
TreadDepot.com: SSR GTV03 Silver Wheels
These 5 spokes are nice too

Exactly...

Fine... I'll spill the beans then...

I'm leaning towards a set of Avant Gardes either the M510s

or the M550s five spoke wheels which IMO will look great and show off that BBK that eventually will be painted/powdercoated ( possibly the dark maroon color)

What do you guys think??

Brad those 5 spokes look good indeed !
