I dont have the car anymore but i circled where the approximate location is on a pic of my install. Mine was a bit different since a whole new mouting setup was made then covered by a false floor, only exposing the top of the tank when covered. And as far as the rear bags coming loose is a bit odd. My rear bags had a top bolt and needed to modify the spot above the bag, drill a hole and welded in some riv-nuts. That way the bag would stay in place securely. And IIRC there was also a bolt for the rear and a hole was drilled right in the middle of the lower spring cup as well.

 

Thanks man. I may have to look into that and see if its a better route to take on the rear lines.

As far as them coming out of the spring bucket, when the car is on jack stands and you let the air out of the bag it will drop below the bucket. The bottom is bolted to the lower cup.

 

No prob bro, and then if you do go that route you will be able to tuck the air lines behind the fender lining carpet so it stays out of the way. My rear bags were a double bellow stlye which is why i prob needed both top and bottom secured. Cars is looking sick btw! seen it blowin up on IG

Does the rear tuck anymore?

 

No, thats aired out. May be cause the top and bottom brackets are about 3" tall each. The exhaust is about 1\4" off the ground when its down so not really trying to go any lower.

Decided to wake up this thread from it's 8 month nap....

I recently acquired all the parts to install in my G37S, however the install won't happen until April/May timeframe when I move back to the US with my G.

For the e-level sensors,
How did you know where to mount them? With the rest of the air suspension installed or prior to? I have the new style sensors with the multi-hole adjustment capability, so I'm not sure if that will allow more travel or not than what you're getting. Understanding I need to stay in that 2.75" window. I'll also be running the i-level.

I'm toying with the idea of going Air for my G as well. I've done air in the past on a 2012 Jetta TDI and I use the sleeve style bags you used in your build. They are incredibly bouncy for my liking. I ended up switching to double bellows for the front and rear. I'm going to reach out to my contact at Open Road Tuning and explore my options for bags on my G.
