I've heard the NT01's are almost the same as the R888 but beat them out with give on road courses.
11.8, nice slip! Was that the same pull vs. that Acura? If so, WTF @17.34
Here's a decent read, seems like the Nitto NT05R are the hot ticket for the 1/4 mile

Did Jim ever break into the 10's? To my knowledge his best run was in the low 11's and there's a couple of G's out there that have run high 10's.
I feel ya. Zero road racing in my area. Ill settle for just getting some track time (sometime) and whatever the car runs once all the bolt ons get tied together by the Ecuteck.

Yeah, I actually talked to Jim after he has his engine trouble and was parting out his car. I was looking to buy his tranny from him, but unfortunately logistically it just didn't work out with him having to ship it across the country.

Thanks! 11.8 is a solid start, hoping to do better after the engine build.
Thanks blnewt! I'll be looking into those when I burn through my Michelin PSS. Nitto makes some good rubber for the road!
I'm not sure if he broke into the 10's, I haven't seen any G's to break 10's yet (let me know if you find a link it'll set my new goal)

Looks like there's at least one G over on G35Driver, Carlitos, that's run a 10.97 and another that's run an 11.0 flat. Here's a link to the best 1/4 mile page over there: ...Top 25 1/4 Mile Times... - G35Driver

11.8 is a VERY good start! And props to you for doing it while keeping your car fully streetable. I used to import drag race and SCCA DSM's back in the early/mid '90 for years and although it was street legal, my Eclipse GSX was far from streetable. Incidentally, your 11.8 would have been a very respectable time back then. Ultimately my goal for my G is to break into the 11's while maintaining full streetability/drivability and almost stock (at least sounding) exhaust.

I'll be content with 12s... high 11s... only number in chasing is 500+ hp 400+ tq on 93 pump. Currently doing research on gauges and how folks with the g37 platform placed theirs and which gauges selected. Speaking of that, in gonna go through your thread again.

All I have currently is a AEM Tru-Boost, controller and boost gauge. I want to add more but keep the set-up sleek. The HKS camp system is great but they stopped producing it a while back and it is very hard to find at a decent price. I know that Carbon Signal has started to produce an integrated monitoring system but need more info on it. I need something that will tap into ours without the navigation (as I don't have nav)

I have a wideband afr sitting around that I need to install and pretty sure I have an oil pressure too. I just have to find a nice place to install them (I like keeping somewhat of a sleeper look)
