For Dynojet I am guessing around 433HP and 342TQ at 8.3 PSI. If you crank it up I am sure you will get well over 450HP! Nice build, can't wait for the videos and dyno charts! Congrats Coop!

Here's a VERY short and non-authoritive clip.

First is a 1/4 throttle run up the gears in DS from first, and then I slow down and do it again at 1/2 throttle. I think I cautiously rolled back a bit because it hangs in second a bit long, but you get the idea. The second one chirps it a bit in second. You can see the traction light flickers on. Cold roads, and unsafe, as you can see.

YouTube - Infiniti G37S - GTM Twin turbo - 5 speed auto w/kit

What's impressive is not only the immediate power, but the firm shifts.

nice. Auto is really the way to go with this kit. I had mine out yesterday as well and find that I'm pretty busy shifting....or maybe I got lazy over the winter. :-)

Lightbulb

I've put over 100 miles on the car--running great! It was time to bring it back to The Shop for a final checkover; under and over, and then on to the dyno.

Jimmy and Kenny put it up and did a few runs. @ 9lbs of boost it was north of 500whp! Real smooth curve. Jimmy was concerned about AFR's being closer to lean and he's sent Sam a log. They are in the process of verifying it and redoing, if needed. Sam has the controls on this.

The car is an animal. As much as I hoped, and yet more than I imagined.

Final news and charts once the experts are finished to satisfaction.

Oh, and you guys were right: Next stop will have to include wider rims and rubber. This thing doesn't take much to break loose. Yikes!

Hey Coop, gratz on you build and nice video too!!

Why did you buy the stage 2 since you just want mid 400 HP?

isn't stage 1 is better for 400 HP due the less turbo lag than stage 2?

Im sorry if this question had been asked but im not really into searching the whole 8 pages just for this question. thanks.

Sam helped me decide that the Stage II was SO efficient and with the auto that turbo 'lag' was going to be irrelevant. It is. Compared to my Subie with a GT35R, this has immediate power. I'm having my cake and eating it too.

Nice to have more than less available.

Hi Sam,

Yes, you are right. I've edited the title now. When I posted this, I still hadn't rec'd the kit. After we got it and were going through the parts lists and installation guide, I noticed that the turbos were listed as Stage II. I was going off of memory from conversations I had with Sam in August.

Like I've mentioned, the change is probably all for the better.

The car is at The Shop getting finalized. Sam sent a new tune to the guys and it lowered the AFR's down to a safer level. Jimmy would like it even more. We will see.

I'll try to get a scan of our current dyno chart later this weekend.
