New pads and rotors causing braking issues

Hey guys,

I recently replaced all 4 pads and rotors and repurposed the calipers. I used stoptech sport pads and slotted/drilled stoptech rotors. I broke them in properly and the 2009 g37 sedan braked wonderfully. Maybe 50 or so miles of driving, and now it kinda rumbles when I brake at any speed. The steering wheel does not vibrate and the rumbling is primarily felt through the brake pedal. Any thoughts what would not be a problem initially, but cause issues 50-100 miles later? Only thing I can think of is I did not index the rotors.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

What do you mean by "it kinda rumbles"? A better description might help, but does it affect the braking at all? Also, what do you mean by "repurposing" the calipers? Did you just reuse the existing calipers, or replace caliper seals and boots?

So I replaced the seals and boots and cleaned up the calipers.

As far as the rumbling, the best way I can think to describe it .. when I brake, it feels and sounds like i am driving over rumble strips. The alignment itself is fine, but the car also seems to pull to one side or the other.

How long has it been since you bled the brakes?
