Help Swift Springs on G37x Coupe
Swift Springs on G37x Coupe
Gang,
Buying a set of Swift springs (G37x/Q60 AWD specific) from Z1. The front springs are rated at a 1.3" drop and the rears are rated at a 1.0 drop. Would I need to purchase rear adjustable camber arms and/or an offset eccentric bolt elimination kit? Or is that overkill for such a slight drop?

Either way works. Try putting the springs on and see how close your alignment shop can get you. Most likley camber will be a bit out of spec, but not a big as long as toe can be set to spec. Most of the tire wear will come from misaligned toe settings - which will be the case once the springs are installed.
Also, best to wait a few miles to let the springs settle before having the alignment done.
I put coil overs, camber was out by a couple degrees on all 4 corners, the shop set toe to spec and made sure camber was even for each axle set. I ran with it for many miles before springing for camber arms and such. Didnt have any problems - just decded i needed a project to keep me entertained, so i did the camber arms.
