So I have swift springs and KYB Excel G shocks (dampers?) Ready to be assembled for my car come springtime. However I quickly realized it would be easier to assemble everything and kind of have it be like a quick strut. Bolt out, bolt in.
So I want to get all the hardware to make that happen. I ordered strut mounts from KYB SM5733 (how are these? If anyone knows...)
However I am having major difficulties trying to find the rest of the hardware. Upper and lower spring seats, dust boots, bump stop thingy and the gasket. Do I really have to use my old stuff here? I'm about to buy some cheap quick strut assemblies and just take the hardware off of them instead.

That "Strut Mount Seal" a/k/a gasket is a real joke at $45-68 for a piece of paper. Literally. Just a thin piece of paper.
I was lucky and found a pair for $14/ea. Granted, it was from Nissan in the Middle East, but with shipping it came out cheaper than the cost of one here in the USA (not incl. shipping).
Go figure...

Thank you very much for all this information. I am ordering the bumper, seat and nut from discountinfiniti. I will reuse that stupid gasket. I can't do it. I will not pay $65 (or $45) for that. So at $160, I can live with that.

Have been running a pair on our 2008 G35X for more than 3 years now w/o any issue.
There's generic gasket material available from your local car part store - you can trace and cut out new ones for maybe $2. This is a NVH seal nothing more. For that matter, you could probably run a 1/8 bead of RTV down the middle of where the gasket covers, let it harden, and use that. Again, not a clearance shim or holding any liquid or pressure, so anything that will help minimize noise/vibration is the ticket.

It's been over a year since I made this post, however I am just now actually installing my struts. I am indeed going to reuse the old gaskets. They look good enough and to be honest I don't really understand the purpose of them? To slightly protect the dissimilar metals from making contact? I suspect the old ones will do the job.
Prevention of galvanic corrosion and NVH barrier, is all they're for. You could replace them with something cut out of a plastic notebook cover. Or thick waxed paper. Or or or...

Nissan/Infiniti is out they god damn mind. I found the gasket for $45 and even then I’m just genuinely insulted.
