Does brand matter for wheel bearings?
With other cars, I've always used OEM or a reputable manufacturer like Timken.
With the G (talking RWD front wheel bearings here) there's OEM, OEM value line, and then Rockauto shows Timken, Beck/Arnley and Centric. For hard use, is any one of these better than the other?

I always used Timken. Never tracked the car but, admittedly, beat the **** out of it and managed to burn through two fronts in 70k miles. Car was on coilovers with Z1 adjustable control arms so well within spec.
This is a decade old referral, second-hand, however... I had wheel bearings replaced in my old 2003 Maxima SE 6MT, and the work done by my old mechanic. At the time, he enthusiastically recommended Timken over OEM for these parts.

You know when I wrote that RockAuto didn't seem to have Timken or any other top end brand that I recognized - all weird chinese off brands like Amazon carries. Now that I see them on there... and for only $122 a side... my question is really moot.
Changing these in my perpetual quest to remove the handling quirk my car has.
