Problem with brakes

I am experiencing a problem with the brakes recently where when braking even slightly, the seat belts would lock up and squeeze as if I'm braking hard. I have took the car to get inspected by a technician and he does not know what seems to be causing this. He has told me that the brake pedal has been lowered but doesn't know why or what has caused it. The brake pads are fairly new and has still has a lot of life left in them. He has also flushed the brake system and there is no leak nor air in the system. Brake fluid is at an adequate level (mid way). Does anybody know what may be the causing this issue?

I have done a big brake kit (Akebonos) and the rotors are good/fairly new.

I know that Nissan had issued a recall for certain 2007-2012 cars (mainly Altimas) that had a faulty brake master cylinder/vacuum booster assembly. I know that when you barely touch the pedal the car would act like you were in a panic stop. Also, the pedal would not fully return to full up position which caused excessive drag on the brakes themselves. We had to get the recall completed for a friend's Maxima.

Nissan Brake Recall

While I have not heard of this happening with any G's, it might be something to look into...
