Guess who got new brakes

I just got new brake rotors and pads for the front... I told them about the brake judder problem at high speed and they told me it would be 290 to fix. I showed em the TSB and they were like oh sorry I didn't even know about that. That'll be free.

My steering wheel used to shake my i apllied brakes at 60+ mph or when I use them down hill. It caused due to warped rotors

Thing I fear is that it's the OEM pads that cause that, so even if you upgrade the rotors you might still get judder with time

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem! My car had 17000kms when it started and as you all have mentioned it's most noticible at over 60mph. I had the front rotors turned down on a brake lathe but the problem is still there, must be the pads! How did you get the dealer to replace the brakes under warranty, my dealer tried to tell me it was because I heated the rotors up too much at one point or another and that brakes are not a warranty item.

Brake squeal/shudder TSB

I had my front brakes replaced @ 28k mi on my 08 sedan under this TSB. They replaced my front rotors, backing plate, pads, and hardware for free. Now, I am just over 40k mi, and no issues with the new brakes yet. *knock on wood*
