Question Rock Auto: Z23 Evolution Sport w/Calipers $815

Hey guys,

Anyone tried these or thoughts thinking of getting this set up for my Q50. Would be the same set up just with centric blank rotors 12042100 and 12042105. Thank you

I've definitely thought about it and I know I read a post where someone gave them a shot and I believe Brad had some insight on the product. From what I remember, the person who bought them was satisfied. I'll see if I can dig it up but I believe it's in the 'What did you do to your sedan today' thread.

From: Framingham Ma,
Just bought the kit, was actually less cause I want with the centric blanks . Should be here the end of next week and will try to get them installed and reviewed by Saturday. Still can't believe the poor quality of the stock breaks :? , 38K and vibrations and squealing .

Crazy this was HALF the price as the Z1 kit

Subbed for the review. I have these saved to my build list for down the road so I appreciate you taking the plunge.

I'm not a fan of drilled or slotted, but otherwise looks adequate.

I bought them a couple of months ago, and they're pretty great. Only two minor "complaints":
First, I do have a bit of a squeaky pad, driver's side front. I suspect it just needs to be lubed properly, as it was super cold when I installed them out of necessity, and I may have skimped on the lube.
Second (maybe related) the supplied pads will squeak a bit when cold.

Otherwise, they're really great. Very very low dust, and a good improvement over stock. Definitely worth the money.

Let me know how the install goes. Are you putting them on yourself?
