Hey BLNewt, those are for the G35. Thats not the same is it?
Yeah, it's the same for the G37, if you go to SPC website and put in your vehicle info the same # will come up. Guess they're not really that into updating their parts

Yeah I had them. I didn't slot the mount. It was not necessary. The Tech even knew they were the new straight SPC! I guess I need to cut D&R some slack!

What are your new alignment specs? And how bad were they prior?

Hope that's not where your rear toe is currently, your tires will be shredded ASAP. Need those rear toe slots elongated if that's where your toe is right now.

Thanks Brad.

Something tells me I will not get much from slotting the LCA mount on the left. I will perhaps on the right.

Also I have to ask a stupid question. The cam adjuster washers provided by SPC are to be used on the parts (camber links) they were provided with and not the LCA?

It would seem as if the cam washers are no use at all since the camber link is made of a turn buckle??? I know you can get square washers so they won't turn under high load corners.

I will call the alignment guy in the morning about slotting even though I told him I didn't slot the holes. I will probably end up slotting this weekend.

With the SPC camber arms (with the turn buckle adjuster) you only need to use the OEM cam bolts, not the aftermarket ones. And if you are just using the unmodified toe slots with the aftermarket toe bolts you won't do ANY better than if you just had your stock toe bolts in there. It doesn't seem like much movement but it doesn't take much to alter your toe. That last 3/16" give or take is what you need, and elongating that toe slot will get you there.

I had to get all new bolts and washers for everything as mine were frozen and I had to cut them out. I have stock toe adjuster washers. Will/should I need aftermarket larger washers? This is why I asked if I should be using the SPC washers on the toe location, as it doesn't look like I will get anything on the left if I slot. Plus the SPC units will not utilize the cam washers. I am sitting here reading the SPC instructions over and over and I don't see that it says anything about replacing the stock toe washers with the SPC washers. I ASSUME I am to use the SPC washers with the SPC units. I still have the OE washers for the SPC replaced camber links.

Yes, NO OEM washers w/ the new toe bolts, just the SPC washers w/ SPC bolts, but you do use the old camber arm OEM bolts/washers, if you just have new bolts/washers for the camber arms those will work fine since you're just using the OEM slot, you just wouldn't have the full range, but since you have the turnbuckle arms you won't need any bolt slide there

Damn do I feel stupid. The new concentric washers go on the LCA/Toe link NOT the camber link. This is why my camber link washers look like they are not going to be used and the LCA washers will not be effective when mount is slotted. GRRR!! OK, now I feel better.

I had this same exact issue when I lowered on Swift + Hotchkis.. My good friend at the shop installed them and we didn't think I'd need an alignment.

We were right at first but as soon as the wet weather hit and the snow my car was sliding in the rear end all over the place to the point where over 50mph was sketchy when it was wet out.

Brought it back in and it was the toe was all out of wack.. adjusted the toe and everything was back in spec.. Drove like a new car.
