Talking Ugg I know you guys are tired of this.... wheel question

Hi, all - -

I am a Class A lurker here , but don't really post because my searches always give me exactly what I need. Though I'm sure my answer lies within the "offset" threads SOMEplace, I couldn't find exactly what I need, in probably 75 pages of results I've perused. My eyes are now crossed. Here's my question........

I have a 2009 X Sedan, lowering on Swift springs as soon as they come in. I'm going with 20s, and need to know the right metrics for exactly how I want it to sit.

I do not want to run staggered; I'm thinking 20x8.5 all around? Need tire dimensions so there's no tire stretch and the sidewalls are 'straight'..... and the right offset for this setup to sit flush without fender mods. I've read all sorts of offset/tire size combinations, but they don't all have the photo to show the end product, or the product isn't quite what I'm looking for.

Below are two images (likely from some of YOUR cars!) to represent what I'm looking for stance-wise, any info on your metrics with this type of setup would be appreciated (and a pic would be swell).

You can run the following setups~
20x9.5 +45 running a slightly stretched 245/35/20 all around, the sidewall will tilt slightly from the rim to the tread block.
20x9 +40 also running 245/35s the sidewall will be straight from the rim to the tread block
20x8.5 +35 on 245/35s sidewalls will tilt outward slightly toward the tread block.

245/35/20s approved rim range is from 8 to 9.5 width rims.

If you pick a concave rim the 9.5s will typically give a more pronounced concave look
FWIW.

Awesome, thanks Blnewt! Double checking, the 20x9 and 20x9.5 options you listed are no rub, no fender rolling, correct?

Absolutely not. But if I was in his line of work, he would be on the unemployment line.

Yep, no fender mods needed and you can run in-spec camber
Here's a X sedan running 9.5 +45s on 18s but will be the same fit at the fender as the 20s since the diameters are the same
This is at stock height

And with a mild Tanabe drop

Ok one last follow-up.... does anyone have close up pics of this setup? I'm leaning toward the 9.5 and I'm ok with SLIGHT stretch, but nothing more than slight.

Thanks

Look forward to seeing your setup when you get it all together, and if you have more questions or concerns shoot me a PM.

Smile Who doesn't love pics?

Ok, all. Been a busy few weeks, so I just got started on her. Decided on the Niche Enyo. 20x8.5 all around with the 245/35. Swift drop. Looks like I might actually need a slight camber adjust, nothing major thankfully.

Other: blacked the chrome window trim, stripped my 20% tint and replaced with 5 all around. Blacked the shark fin, and doing the roof black maybe this weekend. Also carbon fiber wrapped the interior trim. Few more things planned; I'll spare you the list. Anyway, on to the kudos and pics.

Thanks blnewt for the offset assist. Pardon the crappy pics, was in a rush....

Great looking transformation there ^^^
Wheels, trim & tint really go well together
Glad the wheel offsets worked for you, and nice to be able to do a true 4 wheel rotation too.
As far as camber, you may be able to get by w/ just the rear camber bolt/toe bolt kit, this involves elongating the two rear toe bolt slots and two rear camber bolt slots. If you have a dremel tool it's a pretty easy DIY. And the kits cost about $50, you'll need two of these kits (4 bolts total)
SPC Performance Camber/Toe Cam Bolt Kit; Pair, Reqr's 1 per Wheel INFINITI G35
Here's the install info, it says G35/350z but it's the same for your G37
