245 vs 255

I just got my new squared coupe wheels and I am wondering if I should run 245 or 255 tires? What is the difference when it comes to ride quality? Performance? If any of you can give me an exact size (eg. 245/40/19) i would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance

Which width did you get, the 8.5 or 9"?
I'd run 245s on the 8.5s and 255/40/19s on the 9s. You won't notice much difference going only 10mm wider, the main difference will be if you've got crappy stock All Season tires and go to a nice grippy summer tire or a higher performance all season if you absolutely need them that is

Year/model of the G, size wheels you purchased, etc anything extra you can share would help out.
