Help w vossen v0f51

Hey guys I have a chance to trade my stock sport 19s and a lil cash for vossen vof51s for a great deal.

He has them on a q50 sedan.

Just wondering how fitment will be.

I have 2012 coupe g37s

20x9 +25 f 235/35
20x11 +25 r 255/35. Will swap rear tire for prolly a 275/30 or 285/30 or so
He has 8mm spacers included for fronts don't think any for rears

So how will these be on my car? Should be very flush im thinking, but I don't want Em to poke out either. Also on stock suspension for the moment, may drop on eibach in next month or two.
Wants to do this swap today so any i put is appreciated.

I'm sure I'll prolly need camber kit very soon at least for the rears w 20x11 too right? But will i be ok for a week or two until I can get some ?

Thanks guys

If this is a local deal I'd go there and try a test fit, the rears are very aggressive but w/ a little camber the stretched 255s may tuck. I wouldn't buy them w/out a test fit though.

Yes it is local. At his friends tire shop so only chargin us $10 a tire to swap and tpms and such. Also found out it's actually 245 stretched on rear. Wow big stretch there.

found out rear offset is actually 30 something...no stamp. But thinks 35-38 so will make a lil easier fitment then. Phew

Question is do you think I would run into problems before I get my camber arms? I don't really want to have it look all slanted and cambered to all hell, plus the tire wear.

Also, when I decide to drop on eibachs?

Haha I just want it to work so bad, such nice rims for so cheap. Guy is trading car back in so needed stocks.

You'll only get excess camber if you lower your suspension or add aftermarket camber arms that allow increased camber adjustment. Just changing to new wheels/tires will have no effect on your alignment settings.
Hopefully the true offset on those wheels is more conservative (more positive). There should be some offset ID on the inside of the wheel, might need to look a bit harder, lol.
Good Luck.

Got Em...here is pics

So I ended up buying them. They worked out great. The guys buddy who owned the shop hooked it up for $50 to swap tpms and threw in some slip on 8mm spacers!!! For some reason the rears hit the calipers on my coupe, but they did not on his q50 sedan, cleared his by about 3 mm.

Anyway, here are some pics. I think looks great, even on stock suspension. I'm gonna put on some fatter tires in back, the 245 on an 11" rim is lil too stretched for my tastes, lol it leaves edges out on both sides ughh. A nice 275/30 or 285/30 will do the trick. Although maybe could keep the 35 sidewall and do a 265? Idk what you guys think?

I love Em so far. Gonna powder coat gloss black face and white lip and hardware probably. Will test out in Plastidip first most likely.

Nice looking rims for sure, IMO they look great as is, not sure how the white/black combo would work, but won't know until you try, so dip might be the safest way to see how it works out. Did you ever get the offsets?

I didn't see a stamp on rears. I think because originally they were custom job with custom offset for original owners G I believe. But it worked out. We thinking it is somewhere between 35-40, so plus the not sure exact size 5-8mm spacers ends up being like 30ish. Almost perfect, and I think with lil beefier tire will look even better and fill the gap a tad more.

Makes me think twice about dropping it on eibachs now. There really isn't much of a wheel gap, especially after tire swap I think. I don't want to run into problems with rubbing or anything, but if I could get it perfectly flush in rear with little to no gap would look even better.

Haha idk. What do you think? If it will look much better im all for it, but if it will just cause issues and not make much a difference...

Ironically enough on vossen website there is a white g with these rims that looks exactly like mine but dropped, not sure on what however, but it does look damn good a lil lower.

This is color matched faces black inner and chrome lip. Mine would be almost opposite w black face, white lip.

Choices

So a couple ideas/options on color.

1. Leave chrome. Never been into chrome too much and I blacked out all other things chrome on entire car, lettering, grill, emblems, etc.
However, it does still look pretty nice the way it is right now. These babies shine!
See above pics

2. Go color match face like in vossen picture above. That's with inner edge where rivets are black and rivets white I think, hard to tell from pic if they chrome or white. Lip chrome in pic, but could go black too for different look.
See above pic

3. Do gloss black face and white/color match lip. Variation here is whether to have inner lip where rivets are be black w the face or white w the lip and then the corresponding black or white rivets. See below, not same rimes but colors.

Choice 2 caliper color (a lot depends on color choice of rim)
1. Stock
2. Black w white letteringZ
3. White w black letteringc
4. Red
5. Blue. contrast To black/white theme might look good have an accent color
6. Yellow

FWIW I like the look of the white inner/black outer, but leaving the chrome barrel and painting the spokes white might be an option since you still have some chrome in the headlights (at least from the small pic it looks like you still have chrome shroud) and having just the barrels chrome isn't too much, and when they shine they show well.

If you went that route then black lug nuts and black calipers (w/ white decals) would go well IMO.
