Question - How close to the sport brakes can you go ?
I have a 2012 X Sport Coupe, with the AWD, sport brakes and 19" rims ( Front 225/45R19 Rear 225/45R19 ) and want to use the snow tires from my old coupe. The snow tires are P225/50R18 and are mounted on the 18" OEM rims from a 2010 G37X Coupe ( Not the sport ). I tried them on the front, and they mount fine but are about a millimetre away from the callipers. The wheel's turns fine, not binding but am concerned about the spacing.
I did go out and get some 5MM hub centric spacers and put them on, but am not pleased with the ride afterwards. A little bit more vibration at highway speeds. The snow tires were balanced before installing. So am thinking of pulling the spacers out.

I have less than 1/4" (5mm) between the snow wheels and calipers. It's tighter than I prefer but no issues. I'd say as long as nothing is hitting you should be ok. The calipers are fixed, as are the wheels once bolted on. Neither is going to move unless damaged in someway.

If you are really worried, buy some hub centric spacers with extended studs and use those. you shouldn't have any vibration and this way you can be sure you have enough turns on the lug nuts so they hold.
