Lowered my 2010 Sport Coupe.
So I lowered my 2010 Sport Coupe on Tanabe springs. Mild drop. Factory ride. Which is just what I wanted because it's my daily driver. After driving over a railroad crossing this morning something didn't feel right. So after work I began investigating. I had a screw in my front drivers side tire. No problem, I plugged it. However, I noticed that my drivers side damper is leaking fluid. Passenger side is fine. The car was lowered about two months ago. My question is this, bad luck? Or bad install? I didn't do the install. Either way I guess it's time to start saving for some coilovers....

Probably bad luck, as long as the drop was even and there were no new noises/clunks up front the install was probably OK. Mild drops aren't too harsh on OEM struts, it will shorten their life but not as severe as the deeper spring drops. Might want to look into slightly better struts like KYBs or the much better Koni Yellows. Or keep saving for coils
