Best replacement tires on 09 G37s coupe?

All 4 tires on my 09 G37s coupe are pretty much done, whats the best replacement for these sport 19" wheels? I'm hearing 245/40/19 in the front and 275/35/19 in the rear? Is this true, and why? Won't i lose MPG?? What are the benefits to having this tire sizes? And do I need spacers? Aren't spacers generally "bad" ?

The wider tires will give you better grip (if you ever push the car to it's limits and would prefer more grip) but this in return will get you worse MPGs as you will add more resistance when rolling. I would recommend the stock tire size for anyone who isn't driving the car at it's limit. Try the Bridgestone Potenza S-04, they are on sale on Tire Rack and are really good tires. If you do want to spend more go with the Michelin Pilot Super Sport as those are the best Max Performance tires out. I would also recommend 245/40/19 with 265/35/19 as this size will look better on the stock rim. Both tires come in all sizes.

Thanks for the response, What do you mean "drive at its limit"? I drive pretty casually sometimes but most of the time I'm driving pretty fast or rough lol. I don't mind spending more but I've heard the Hankook vents EVO 12's are good as well? What do you think about those? And are you currently on 265/35/19 in the rear? How is it like if so? Need spacers?
