Akebono stickers as stencils instead.

Has anyone tried this before?

Paint the sticker area black , put sticker on, then paint color, then remove sticker before clear??

It would probably be a lot less work to just get black decals. Any reason you want to go this route?

We did that with mine, came out great except for a small area in one letter of one of the calipers. It wasn't completely dried yet and smuged a little. No one can tell but I'm ****. It's a lot more work, took a lot more time. It was a cool idea but for the work involved dude just go the regular route my .02

Yep, that's what i did. Took a while due to drying times, but was worth it IMHO.
