Koni teams up with H&R

Koni has teamed up with H&R springs, and created a TUV approved lowering set up for the G37 Coupe.

Koni Part #1140-9589

Me personally, have a set of Swifts sitting here on the floor waiting for a free day to put them on my Konis!!

Interesting. Nice to see more support for the car. Would like to see more damper options though.

I'm thinking of running some Yellows with OEM springs on my sedan. The stock springs are linear and I don't have much interest in lowering my DD, but I want better low-speed damping for the track. If high-speed bump is improved in the process too, all the better.

Hate to revive this but any new info on this setup since last year? Anyone running it? Link? Are these just the koni yellows with H&R sport springs?

Konis can be paired with basically any spring. I would say that a coilover option is better for the same cost. I have Konis and Vogtland springs for my 530i and the ride is much more harsh than my Tanabe coilover setup on my G37. The reason I went with shock/spring for the BMW was because you need to modify the shock housing in order to get a coilover installed and I didn't want to do that.

Interesting. I don't know I drive the car pretty hard it's a daily I'm looking at doing some track days soon too so I want the reliability of konis and not worry about a cheaper set of coilovers blowing out. My other option is swift coilovers for about the same cost

Konis will be fine. Pair 'em up with good linear springs (e.g. swift) and you will have a great setup with a fair price/performance.

H & R with proper shocks will be a much better ride than a lot of coil-overs!

I agree it'll probably be a higher quality, more durable setup than most of the sub $2000 coils

I have Swifts on Konis, and do not regret it.

Ride height, handling, and quality are perfect.

I have swift coilovers on Konis, and they ride great, absolutely love them.

I'll up grade soon suspensión, and thinking in these koni sport with H&R sport springs.
Koni shows a life time warranty, which speaks of a tested tech.

Only coilovers i'm considering are KW V1 or Top speed's
First because use to have KW in my last 2 rides and second cause using aragosta and swift parts at a decent price tag

I do drive a sedan journey 7at RWD as DD and no intention to hit the track ever on it
And think once set up height maybe I'll touch those again jajaja
