Can I replace my rear sprints on my tanabe coilovers with eibach sprints?
Can I replace my rear sprints on my tanabe coilovers with eibach sprints?
I am looking to race the rear of my coupe S from the tanabe max high position, it's it possible to replace the rear sprints with other brand that could work with my tanabe coilovers ?
Somebody either posted this while drunk or got their azz kicked by auto correct.
I'd recommend getting Swift springs in the length that will work for what you want to achieve but keep the same spring rates as the springs you are replacing so as to work with the valving of the shocks.

Coilover springs and regular lowering springs are different. A set of lowering springs won't fit on your coilovers, so H Techs or something like that won't work.
Off the top of my head I know that Tanabe and Swift make metric coilover springs in various lengths and spring rates. Check their websites to see what they have. The coilover springs in yours are 10 kg/mm front and 9 rear. If you use different springs from the originals they should generally be +/- 2 kg/mm to match the dampers' valving. You can just get a rear pair that's slightly longer.
