Appears to look like they swapped over the TPMS from your pictures. If there is no TPMS light on..it normally means that you have TPMS. If they didn't swap it and you didn't have TPMS than the light would come on. Are you just paranoid they didn't swap the TPMS and some how managed to disable the TPMS light?

And I don't think it's "odd" for them to remove TPMS and move them to your new wheels. It'd seem to make no sense for the shop not to do it unless you specifically asked them not to transfer the TPMS over for other reasons.

Hey, I was trying to help based on the I complete information that you are disseminating a little at a time. I'll just leave it in your capable hands to figure this one out. Figuring it out for yourself is probably the best way for you to get your learn on.

Yes, I'm home and I looked at my take offs and sure enough they have the plastic part where the tire is inflated. I just assumed (like some others on the board did) that if they removed the tired to get the tpms out then it would be a lot of work to remount them and fill them with air to give back to me. I feel a little silly for worrying over what turned out to be nothing and even silly-er for calling the shop and leaving messege asking why they hadn't swapped the the tpms over....ughh. You live you learn.

Glad you got it all figured out and seems to have a happy ending. 👍 Now it's time to post a pic or two of the new wheels!

FYI: Tires do not have to be fully dismounted to remove/install TPMS sensors, it is a way for tire shops and dealerships to make it sound like it is a whole lot more work to do this. All the technician has to do is put the wheel on the tire machine and push the arm down near the sensor and it becomes very easy to access them.
