Sport Calipers Fit non Sport Rotors?

I have an 09x coupe, If I buy Sport front and rear calipers will they mount on non sport Rotors? Are the Bolt patterns the same on the calipers. Tried searching and couldn't find anything.

Thanks,

Check an online parts distributor. You'll find that rotor sizes are different for the S and the non-sport. So sport calipers will need sport spec rotors.

I know the rotors are different sizes, but what I'm wondering is if I can bolt a Sport Front Caliper in place of my existing. Are the sport pads / contact surface, wider than the non sport pads?

Not only that, but they're also further out. You'll get a lot of pad overhang.

Get the rotors while you're at it, it's not that much more.

The sport calipers bracket is different. Mike is correct, you will have pad overhang if you use the standard rotors.

You need to get the larger diameter rotors to go along with the sport calipers.

Honestly, why take the chance. These are your brakes we're talking about here....don't skimp on cost.

So if I get Sport rotors and calipers it's a direct swap? No caliper carrier or anything like that needed? I would purchase hardware though.

You'll need calipers, rotors, and brake lines to do the swap.
