11298-CA015 is an M10x1.25 bolt, I used an extra trans mount bolts that I had leftover from the Junkyard that fit. But a bolt that is at least 25mm long is good.30mm will work as well as the cavity is pretty deep.

You can get all the hardware for <$10.

Thanks Modme for this info!

Question.

@thescreensavers Are these front suspension member stays performing a similar function as the Cusco Front Power Braces?

I have the Cusco rear power brace installed and it made a noticeable difference.

This thread won't leave me alone. Planning on doing the "Z" braces and possibly the front 370z Nismo/Yamaha damper later this year.

For anyone who has done the Nismo/Yamaha damper, are there any bolts that need to be replaced or does it bolt on?

The front damper is a direct bolt on

Nice, can you install it without removing the front bumper?

The bumper has to be removed to get to the bolts. I also trimmed the plastic on the passenger side

Looks like it but the OEM brace is better

Looks vs. is I guess. The combination of the Cusco front and rear power braces, strut tower bar and new urethane diff bushings made a noticeable difference.in the rigidity of the platform.

Conventional wisdom might make you think the 3-point OEM brace is better, but really who here is a mechanical engineer? Also, that's the brace from the Vert, which is different than the brace in the AWD, which differs from the RWD which doesn't even have one.

Better? Maybe, but I suspect in a way that's imperceptibly measurable.

Since the platform is now noticeably more rigid and manageable with the aftermarket braces, my next thought is what are the tradeoffs? For example, why was that front brace left off of the RWD model? And why wasn't the rear brace included on all models outside the 370Z? Comfort? Is oversteer induced by including it? The guys at ConceptZ feel that the rear power brace is a must for the G sedan, and I tend to agree with them. I guess when designing these cars the engineers reached a point where the platform was good enough for the intended use case.

I guess the "Vert brace" is the same as the one that comes from a 370z since that's where I got mine from. I am actually an ME so ill say without a doubt the OEM one is a much better brace. This is understood from the cross section, material choices and geometry differences. If Nissan could have saved money by making it use 2 bolts they would have. There is added costs in Material and BOM hardware related to the OEM brace when compared to the Cusco or similar type braces.

To your last point I agree with, maybe they provide the same "Feel" of improvements. If I had to choose, I know ill go with the OEM one 100% of the time.

View of the Cusco from the bottom to compare.
