Well I'm sorry to hear that about DPE although custom forged wheels do take at least 16 hours to cut out, per wheel and depending on the intricacy of the wheel design...it could take longer. They did come out very nice. Is that a anodized bronze lip?

Hey Slick, its pretty expensive, but i guess that will depend on you coils too. I can't remember it too clearly since its been a while when i got it, but i think i paid about 740,000 YEN, not sure how much it is in USD. The Coils itself is 350,000 Yen though, the rest are the complete front, rear, remote control set of the cups.
740,000 yen equals $9246.53 USD
350,000 yen equals $4373.36 USD

Hey bud! Just saw your message and this review now. Thanks so much for getting this review up! Haha, I am glad others are seeing how serious someone is about their car when they go to this level of a quality mod. Looks gorgeous and your car is beautiful. I have not seen your ride with the new wheels to date... And haha, the biggest part of the review that I am taking away is how happy you seem to be with it! That speaks for itself in a lot of ways!!!

So... the question that still has gone unanswered... How unbearable is the ride with the cups extended? Are there varying degrees that you can lift or it is all the way up and all the way back down and just depend on where you have your coils set.

I know you got these to primarily clear obstacles and not to drive high, but it was simply one of the things that always seemed up in the air as to what the real answer is. So I was just wondering if you had time to test it out yet.

So happy for you though, this setup really shows taste and dedication to doing things the right way. Thank you for sahring this with the community. Happy it seems to have been a great outcome so far as well... but lets be honest... for the price; it better do its job and do it well! Congrats bud!

Yea Eric, i did, somehow i am afraid that the coils might bottom out or blow up or something if i didn't install that haha... I don't have the ***** to not install the spring.. I don't want to find it out the hard way Eric haha.. anyone else know whether it is safe without the springs?

Maybe its because of the exchange rates.. but its cheaper if you wanna go just the front and no remote control too i think.

Yes i went with bronze lip, not sure if its anodized or not though. I gave DPE a sample of the Works bronze.. but yea, didn't come out anything like that haha...
And wow... is that the new exchange rates?? i don't think i spent that much, maybe about 7something to 8K, because i got it a while back man, and you know how the exchange rates are getting crazier now.

I guess it depends on the consumer needs, like i said before, some people agree to this set up and some may not, so i guess its about what suits your needs.

No Problem man, i know how you feel about not getting enough info on this kind of set up, so if i can help a fellow member i would be glad too. And again, thank you for your kind words. Yes, i'm happy with my set up because its what i needed here, only down side is the noise when the tank is filling air, its not loud but i can feel and hear i. It would be so much smoother if its not making any noise haha.. but that's pretty impossible.
And yes, to answer the Unanswered questions, on smooth roads, i cannot feel any difference when the cups are aired up, i did try driving it with the air up, and its alright actually, although i wasn't going over an humps.
And i have tested and measured the height of the air going up, when i am seated on the driver's seat and inflated the front cups, it slowed down before reaching its maximum height, there is about 1cm of space to go further up after i get off the car. I hope you get what i mean.
About adjusting the height, yes, i can go halfway up and half way down, just depends on how much you let the air into and out of the cup. But its takes really fast to go up, so you need to be fast if you just want it aired 50% of the cups. I usually go all the up and all the way down though.
There might still be questions unanswered, but you can always ask me, and maybe i can do a test that you want, just so we know how good this things really are.
