i was wondering what the average price is to get coilovers installed... i've looked through the forums and some people say if you pay more than $200 it is a rip off but others say $300-400 is a reasonable price and i mean without alignment strictly just install. and if anybodys from the LA/OC area can they recommend any good shops to get the install done?

I got my coils installed at a shop in Los Angeles for $150... we adjusted height to my liking and then came back two weeks later for final height adjustments after they settled for that price... more than $200 is pricey IMO...

+1 on this one!!!

If I had to do it all over again I would go Tein SS P with EdFc.

Here is my two cents.

I got the JIC coil-over's (now discontinued but coming out with a new line) when they were first produced and I loved them AT THE TRACK but for daily driving on local roads. I rode like crap. VERY VERY HARD even on the softest setting which was 1. I ended up getting eibach springs which is very more satisfying on the local roads but it didn't handle as well on the track. But since I have cut down on tracking my G a lot I am very happy with the springs but I am very tempted to buy the new JIC coil-overs when they reveal the release date soon.
