do 18" wheels look too small on g37?

Do you think that 18" wheels look too small on a G37?

I have had 18" wheels on my last 2 Mercedes and they have looked plenty big for the cars. However, Infinitis tend to be kind of bulky to the point where they seem like they can visually swallow some wheels that would probably look large and just right on a lot of other cars.

Maybe it has to do partly with the style of 18" wheels that Infiniti uses on their cars? Can you post some g37 pics with 18" wheels that you think look big enough for the car?

Also, If I lower the car about 1 inch do you think this might help bring the car together better with 18" wheels?

I believe they are. I plan on replacing my 18s when the tires are spent. But it all comes down to what you like

18 inch rims on the g37 will work if the car is SLAMMED
but thats about it
with 19s you get a fuller looking car without slamming it

I think it might depend somewhat on the wheel style.

Here is a pic of 18's on a G37. The wheel is Encei Tuning SC05.

The wheel spokes extend out onto the wheel lip which helps give the wheel a larger look.

The wheel still looks slightly smaller than you'd expect for an 18 on the G37 but I think the wheel still looks "right-sized" - not too small.

What is your opinion?

definitely depends on the wheel type, and ride height obviously. I dont think the stock nonsports look too bad tho. imo

Those wheels look good on the car - not too small at all. I guess it's just important to consider the proper wheel style when building out the G37 with 18's.

Is your ride dropped at all Gee37S?

Yup it's on Eibach Pro-kit. A little over a 1 inch drop all around. Proper styling and nice offsets will really be what has the most impact on the flow of 18s on our car.

I don't have more pics of that setup but there are 2 videos I made in this thread where you can see the rims in different lighting. Hope it helps you out.

Thanks Gee - I think 18's + coilovers with a 1" drop should work well for me....

In my opinion, 18" looks too small.
