All you need to do is disconnect the muffle at the axle, and remove the middle crossbrace.

Eibach has a DYI on their site.

I've installed the stillen sways but all you have to do is unbolt the hinges before the axleback so it drops about an inch then wiggle the sway bar in.

its very easy, four exhaust bolts + 2 smalled ones for the brackets to pull it down. No stress involved

Eibach are mm's thicker not inches. You have enough clearance. Don't worry. They are the easiest DIY under the car.

Just did the upgrade today and can confirm on the stock exhaust that you only need to take out the 4 exhaust nuts and the 2 nuts holding the brackets a foot or two ahead of the exhaust flanges. No need to remove the brace as per hotchkis instructions. It did help me to lube the rubber muffler mounts so i could scoot the muffler towards the back to gain more clearance between the muffler and the rest of the exhaust. I actually had more problems with the fronts due to a stubborn bolt and lack of space (no lift - only about a 3" makeshift ramp).

I've got eibachs on a coupe with 4was
no problems at all, as someone had said the difference between stock swaybars & eibachs is mm
hands down the best mod for handling you can do, what a night & day difference
