i was at H&R website and they have different type of 20mm spacers. One is called DRS and another one is DRM for 20mm spacers. Can someone tell me which one i should get? DRS or DRM?

Thanks

Here's my theory:

If you are locked into which wheel and tire combo you will live with, then go for the DRS.

If you are like me, lowered with stock wheels, and tires, maybe later on going with a bigger tire, or maybe a different offset wheel.
I will be changing the thickness of the spacers. Then go with the DRM.

Changing spacer thickness, means changing studs for proper length.
I feel that popping out the studs, and replacing them, should happen only once.
More than twice you chance elongating the splined holes in the axle flanges.
Meaning the 3rd time you go to press studs in the axle, they might be loose.
Removing lug nuts when the stud spins (with the wheel on), is a nightmare.

DRMs are very safe as long as you follow the proper torque specs, ans sequence.

I have Ichiba and they are great. As long as you get hubcentric spacers you should be fine, and no matter the thickness, I would absolutely use longer studs.

H&R

I've read Ichibas cause vibrations, due to the centrinc ring being too short.

I've been over 140 in my G with the spacers installed and no vibrations whatsoever. As long as they are installed correctly there shouldn't be.

You're better off with ichiba v2 because it comes with hub ring and built in stud. Most of the hellaflush guys who run spacers all swear by this brand

H&R, Ichiba, Project Kics. They're all fine, with Ichiba being the cheapest.

Quality is as follows:

Project Kics>>H&R>Ichiba

many had to do a diy O' ring on the ichibas to get rid of the vibration.

I always went with Ichibas on my g35 coupe. they were very good spacers.

Yes, but different thicknesses have different length studs, if you are going back and forth with different sizes, you chance ruining your axle flanges.

Then H&R DRMs would be more prudent.
