Continental ExtremeContact DWS

Hey guys,

Alright. I need a no BS assessment on these tires as a year round tire for Midwest driving. I've heard absolutely nothing but good things about this tire but from people who own different cars and the reviews on TireRack for Infiniti's are mostly G37/G35x sedans.

I'm currently running a summer tire/winter tire setup but am looking for something with a little better life to it that can get the job done. I have a G37S Coupe.

So my question to all that own this tire, even Mr. Neil at TireRack, is this the absolute best all-season tire I can get for this car under $275.00/each?

Any/all thoughts and comments welcome. Thanks!

I agree, a buddy of mine has these on his S2000 and went through the winter last year and loved these tires. Tire Racks reviews are spot on!

Thanks guys. S2000 in the winter is a strong selling point for me as it is.

Hopefully Neal responds to my PM with some good news

I would say in the midwest they are going to be the best sport all season option for you. Have hand nothing but good comments from owners since they came out. If they are available in your size(s) I'd grab them as winter season is fast approaching.

Neal,

Thanks. I actually just got these in today and they're already on the car. I put your name on the order form since when I ordered them it was already past business hours. I hope you get the commission from it since it was almost a grand, haha.

Pretty cool looking tire... especially mounted and looking from the rear back. Highway noise... none, at all. But we'll see how they hold past 5,000 miles. The shop I installed them at was raving about them when I came in for an install.

had the DWS's on my last car...you're gonna love the tires...they're probably the best UHP a/s tire on the market...sidewalls are just a tad bit soft so I ran an additional 2 pounds of air pressure in each

In the oe sizes I'd look at the B-Stone 760 or Hankook V12's. The V12's are on backorder at this time, however. V12's will handle dry better and respond a tad better, the 760 will ride quieter and last a tad longer, better wet as well.

In the oe 225/245-19 combo I'd look at the B-Stone 760's. In the larger 245/275 combo the Conti DW would be my top pick.
