Release Parking Break beeps

08 g37 6mt. About to go home, released my e-brake and the "break" light stays on my dash. When I started driving, mini dash screen tells me to "release parking brake" while it beeps. Sooo i had to drive all the way home while my dash beeps telling me to release parking brake when I'm sure I did (which is the e-brake right?!). Checked my brake fluid and topped it off to the max. Still doing it, Has anyone had this problem???

you probably just had it still clicked a little bit. It is really easy to think you have released it and still have it just barely clicked (it doesn't engage, but it sets off the sensor)

try releasing it and pushing all the way down that and see if it was the problem

wouldn't all the way down mean it was on? Not sure if you have a different model than mine but for me when I push the pedal down it's on.

Bring up the parking break and put it back down? Surely you tried that already.

I'd have moved it up and down till it stopped beeping. Might just be a finicky sensor.
