Winter set or G35 17s on G37..?

Hey guys.. Just totaled my G35 couple months ago and of course bought G37S.. I live in Chicago so yeah.. a lot of snow. Had a winter set for my G35 with G35 stock 17s and still have it but I don't think that they will fit on new big brembo calipers.. So..
1. Have anyone actually tried to install stock 17s on G37S?
2. What spacers would you recommend (and what size would I need to fit it?)
3. If I would like to buy a new winter set what offset would I need to fit them on akebono calipers?

don't know too much about cars so not even sure how to read it.. :/
If offset is +43 or +45 that means that I need a wheel with offset larger than +45 to be safe?

Thanx!!

Hey man... well, I am pretty damn sure the stock 17s from the G35 will not fit. I don't think it's just a spacer issue though... but also the wheel's inner diameter. But what do I know! heh

I am sure others will chime in!

I've been told here that anything less than 18s will not fit over the big brakes on the g37s.

ya Not saying 100% but 18" is hard enough to find that will fit. I really doupt that any 17" will fit.
