Infiniti sport brakes

Hi, guys!

Does anyone of you know ho manufactures the brakes on the S versions foe Infiniti? The dealer told me it's brembo (LOL) . Is it akenobo?
Do you think that drilled rotors brake worse than standar rotors?
Which rotors brake best: standard, drilled, slotted, drilled/slotted?

I recently ordered a new G37x and it's going to ship in october, and since the x version does not have the enhanced brakes I'm thinking of buying some good brakes:
Akebono Infiniti G35 / G37 F & R 14 Inch Big Brake Kit w/ Stoptech Rotors, 07+ Sed, 08+ Cpe - performance parts
Are these the same as the brakes on the S version?

Thanks a lot.

Yes those are the exact brakes that come on sport models with different aftermarket rotors. As you can see it's Akebono.

Drilling or slotting the rotors doesn't make the brakes work any better; you could use regular blank rotors and they will work just fine.

unless you are auto-x/tracking the G where your brakes are going to be building up significant amount of heat the only benefit you will get from slotted/drilled rotors is the bling factor

lol they are just for looks.

the only time the slotted and/or drilled rotors will be functional is when your brakes are at consistently high temps for an extended period of time (aka track/auto-x)

Yes, to add another confirmation they are Akebono brakes. The G35s for a time some years back did come optionally with Brembo sport brakes, so your salesman might just be only slightly an idiot.

Stick to blank rotors if you're going to be exposing them to Track temps.

Auto-X barely heats up brakes. Slotted/drilled are for the bling factor only.

slotted/drilled brakes are worse at higher temperatures than solid rotors and are not recommended for track use.
