Rear Tires Rubbing What can I do?
Nope no camber kit. I'll have to take the tire off and look under the wheel well to see if I can find the bolt you are talking about. I don't see any scratches on my tires or wheels so I'm guessing it's just the plastic.
yeah these are other factors I wasn't thinking of. If there is a lot of weight in the trunk and depending on your offsets then you might just have to trim
Subs aren't a concern, however a full tank can make a bit of difference. I still rub slightly on very large bumps. I plan to ask for max neg camber within spec at my next alignement, I'm not a fan of the training wheel look...lol.
Tires are 275/30/20.
I think I see the bolt in question. It attaches the bumper to the quarter panel. There's only about 1.5" clearance so I'm sure I've rubbed it some but strangely enough there doesn't seem to be any burns on it or marks on my tire.
I'm going from memory here but I think my camber is -1.2. Not sure how much more negative I can go and stay in spec. Isn't the max around -1.8?
I actually thought about putting the OEM springs back on the rear. I recall thinking immediately after the drop that the rear didn't drop all that much but I'm sure it's settled since then and it would look kinda funny. I wonder if anyone has tried this.

GT30's are 37 offset rear, 35 front, Eibach rear drop was .7", rear camber spec is -1.8 with a -.8 range. Going back to OEM will help some but you'll still probably need to do camber as well, maybe both will pull it off for you.
Well, when I bought them, I filtered by my make, model, and year, so I let the wheel experts tell me which wheels fit my car because I had no clue.
I guess I could have got on here and asked, or even searched, but I've seen enough GT30s on Gs to think it was a good fit.

I'm glad it worked w/ little headache, but if you ever buy new wheels I'd make sure to check out things like the offset before buying

I've seen lots of wheels on G37's and there are MANY that if you tried to just slap them on any random G you won't be going anywhere w/o major problems
