Eibach Pro-Kit w/ 18" Stock Wheels

I want to add Eibach springs with my stock 18" wheels. This would be to prepare for the eventual upgrade to 20"s. How will this look with the 18's? Any other adjustments needed after the springs are added?

I personally wouldn't care on how they'd look with 18s as you're upgrading anyways. A drop on our cars NEVER looked bad though IMO

I'm looking to do the same thing, and as Sam said it doesn't really matter how it looks as you're going to be upgrading anyway. If anything it'll look a little tucked with the 18's, and depending on the offsets on your future 20's you might want some spacers

Only if the new springs you put on directly cause a failure of a part covered by the warranty. If so, then only your warranty claim on that fix will be denied. Your entire warranty covering the entire vehicle will still be intact.

In 99% of the cases, no, it will have no effect on your warranty.

however a dealership will warn you that dampeners, and any cabin noise/vibration, typical of the stiffening, lowering, less than perfect fit / issue due to install of the springs may not be covered any more.

Should look good on 18s since the car will be lower than if it was on 19s etc. - but maybe wrong because of tire aspect ratio. But Any drop is better than none

Eibach is the most practical drop since with 20s you wont have rubbing issues or even scraping exhaust over bumps. If you drive like a grandma you wont need an alignment kit. But if you are a spirited driver or more IMO you will need both rear and front camber kits. I just noticed the inside of my front tires are worn bad so I will be buying the front camber arms kit next tire purchase.

Eibach also has a positive rake(lower in front than rear - looks muscle car) with there drops which again IMO looks better than other spring manufactures at that ride height.
I only wish the front was a half inch lower so I'm going to coil-overs next.

I wouldn't generalize to be honest, it's all about the aspect ratio (sidewall height of the tire).

If you drive like a grandma you wont need an alignment kit. But if you are a spirited driver or more IMO you will need both rear and front camber kits.
Driving like a grandma only slows down the rate at which your tires wear, wear being uneven will still exist though

whats the advantage of getting a wheel alignment the same day as installation compared to 2 weeks after installation?

Yeah the two week period is like time to let them settle, but what if their used do they still need time to settle?

it depends on how you drive. you'll notice a lot of cars dropped ifyou only have one person sitting in it all the time, the driver's side will drop before the passenger side will settle... get a few friends in the car so it will settle evenly

used they will be settled already but give it a week or two with some driving to adjust to your weight. remember, though they are used, the wear on the springs might play with the handling in the future...i.e... how a worn down mattress feels like vs a new one.

As long as you are using the stock aspect ratio or lower , No issues whatsoever. I would imagine you wouldnt want taller than the stock aspect ratio?

Now as far driving like a grandma your ties yes will still wear uneven. But if you are a spirited driver they will wear a lot faster since alot the cornering wait transfer wears that section much faster. So you end up with tires that look almost half used with insides bald vs tires that almost look completely worn with bald insides.
