After nearly two years I decided to check the pressure in my spare tire (the one in the trunk thank you). It’s supposed to be at 60psi but it was down to 29.5! Assuming that such air loss is normal it may be a good idea to check it every now and then.
I don't have a spare though, I have 2 huge Nitrous Oxide bottles, 3 big Subwoofers, and 4 amps in it's place now I'm sure you have the same setup as I do back there.

Very funny. Actually, I have something close—an oxygen tank, respirator, and a portable EKG machine.
I carry a portable compressor (~$20 at Pep Boys). Considering how hard it is these days to find a working air hose at gas stations I've found it's the only way to keep my pressures at proper levels.

x eleventy billion! Got one for $40 at sears and was well worth the investment. Never have to worry about ruining a tire from having to run it low on air to get to a station, never get stranded with a flat because it has a slow leak, never have to check the pressure in the spare. A worthwhile investment.
Good call on checking it though Chekov for those who don't have a compressor.
Very good reminder. Typically a tire's inflation pressure will go down by about 1 psi every month. A spare forgotten about can potentially be useless if left unchecked for too long.
