I've heard about so many fitment issues w/ the GT Spec STB, seems the only way to get proper fitment is to fiddle with the engine cover or remove your hood liner, which I don't want to do.
Anyone heard about another vendor making a strut tower bar for the g37? The g35 has a bunch, as does the Z, why not us? Tanabe has the lower tie brace, but I can't find info anywhere about a STB for the g37...
Circuit Sports has one for us too. No fitment issues frim what i've seen and it's cheaper than the GTSpec one too if I'm not mistaken. A few members have it.
370z strut will not fit, there are extra bolts in the engine bay to hold the bar in place as well as bolts welded on the firewall....so u can forget about that one...
Nice! I found it online, thinking about picking it up real soon. How come this isn't more common knowledge? I searched around a bunch last nite for bar/brace info and it seemed like it was GT Spec or no go, with the exception of that Tanabe lower tie brace.

I was thinking about getting the GTSpec bar....does everyone have fitment issues with the GTSpec? I'll save my money if there's a bad fit.
Everyone who's gotten it has fitment issues bro. It rubs on the underside of the hood and it ends up scratching the bar. I think the only way to not have it rub is to remove the under hood sound deadener. It's not hard, but still, you shouldn't have to go to that extreme IMO.

thats not sound deadener. that is a fire blanket and should not be removed. if an underhood fire starts for whatever reason it melts the mounting tabs and drops the blanket on the motor and is suppose to help surpress the fire
