no they do it because they are posers who like to act like they race cars and want to impress the other wannabe's at the street races.

Well I finally decided to purchase the GTSpec bar. I'm ok if it scratches up a little, as long as it stiffens the front end suspension a bit when cornering. Maybe I'll be one of the lucky ones who doesn't get scratches. And yes, I admit it does look cool!

Ok seriously, someone cut up my credit card.....I can't single-handedly pull this country out of the recession!

So everyone that installs spring or coilovers for looks is a poser as well? Or bats overlays, or rims ect. So unless they install a mod purely for performance purposes, that person is a poser? They cant just like the way mods look?
I guess all the people that paint their headlights must be posers too.

Yes, they're all posers that wish they could really DRIVE their cars instead of just standing next to it and looking gay

(ref: Fast & Furious, in alley before first street race with quote "Yeah, I'm standing next to it")

springs no because they are just for that looks. they are not designed for performance. thats what coil over are for. if you waste money on coils just to park up and look pretty ya thats a poser. over lays again that is a looks item and has no performance value. wheels? if your putting on wheels that are designed for racing like light weight single piece forged wheels and dont track then ya your aposer. if you add 50lbs chromes wheels no your not a poser your just dumb

You're mixing up a little bit here. Coilovers ARE NOT an exterior mod, they're a performance mod. So getting coilovers just to sit an inch above the ground is in my books posing. If you go to the track, then coilovers are 100% justifyable. Overlays & nice rims are purely exterior mods (apart from light weights), so getting them to look good isn't exactly posing.
Buying a strut bar (for a non-show car) just for the looks of it falls under balling lol something Black Betty would do for instance haha

Do a poll of everyone on here who has coil overs, do you really think they track them? Or everyone that puts exhaust, intake, ect... I am sure they all do it purely for performance reasons.

that's subjective anyway.

What about all the members on here who bought drilled/slotted rotors? I will bet you they didnt do it for track purposes.

Is it really bad to buy a mod because you like the way it looks? Why do you think they paint, polish, or wrap the strut bars in cf in the first place? If it was purely for perfomance, they wouldnt bother putting the time in to polish them or make them looks good. Get off your high horse.

I am sure the people that bought the status elite cf covers are posers too or the status elite gold intakes. Or the thousands of people who bought the right side batter cover for the G35. All of them posers.

coilovers are for posers? LOL I'd love to have them if they were avaialble for my car for the simple fact of selecting my ride height. The adjustable stiffness is nice as well. I've love to sit an inch or so lower in the summer time and have the same stance as pfizzle.

I guess I am a poser then since my car will NEVER see a track, I just want it to look sick when I'm daily driving.

im a poser...i have performance parts and suspension parts...but i dont track it...so im posing...

i didnt know USA offered nissan skyline 370gt with infiniti logos....hey but whatever works....

news flash for everyone here, make your car the way you want it...achieve what you want to achieve, if its the way you want it then who are you posing for???

another news flash, everyones cars here are pretty damn close to performance...lol..cat-backs, intakes, coils...unless ur boosted somehow then you are in your own league...

for me i set my car up to look great, handle great on the highways around me...its pushing the limits to my roads...thats the way i like it, i can pop my hood at a car show, leave there n rip up the highways n puit a smile on my face....when i want a race car ill hop in my race car, tahts it...
