I have 27,500 on all four...I could probably get another 5000 out of the rears, but the cords are showing on the insides of the fronts. I've looked at manufacturer websites and talked to five tire dealers; so far only bridgestone and nitto make OEM size matching sets. I will probably go 275/35/19 on the rear and 245/40/19 on the front. Any thoughts on other possible sizes? Has anyone had experience with changing the tire size on the stock wheels? Recommendations?
I was pleased with the Bridgestones, but 300+ per tire is too much.

I got the Michelin Pilot Sport Plus A/S, but if ur trying to get away from the whole $300 per tire thing. The pilot sports wont be your cup of tea. Try looking into some Verdstein Sessanta's... not super well known, but lot of ppl here with 37s and over on the g35driver forum have tried those tires out and i've heard great things.
Damn, those things lasted alot better for most of you! I am still under 10K and they have nearly no tread left and the road noise is ridiculous, sounds like I'm driving a Jeep with 44's on it. Going to get something new next week. Has any one had experience with the Nitto Invo's?
i had it for about 5000 miles did some doughnuts and race every now and then. tread lasted pretty well. but i destroyed my right rear wheel tire when i drifted a U turn turning to the feft. I didnt know these tires cost so much! but im still running my two front potenzas still got thread on them
almost at 10,000 miles and the tires are getting very noisy. From what I can tell, traction isnt to great on these tires either. Really dont think its worth the money to buy these tires again.

This is the third car in a row i have had with Potenza's as the stock tire. Anyways, I am at 11k and going in for maintenance next week and have to get new tires then.
For whats its worth, one of the original tires blew out at 500 miles but I was told that something hit the side of it so there is no warranty or pro rating.
What are other people with the S versiojn replacing them with other than the Potenza's? I used to always like to keep the same tires to keep the saem feel but I actually was talked into some W or Z Rated (whichver is the 180mph rated) Kumo's on my last car and they felt the same as the Potenza's, gripped better, and lasted 40% longer at about 60% of the cost. I know many people say Kumo makes cheap tires but I had a great experience with them myself and my speedo sees triple digits around turns quite consistently so I am not going to go with something unsafe.
I'm at 2 years and 14k miles...... i still have the OEM 245's (pushed up front) and plenty of tread.... but I dont do a lot of highway driving... rarely over 45mph...
