Need Help removing nut.... Driving me Crazy
Need Help removing nut.... Driving me Crazy
Well I was going to install my new coilovers last night... but no dice.
The nut that holds in the lower part of the shock and spring assembly on the G37 would not budge for me. I tried everything up to Air Tools. Nothing would make it budge. I Have not clue what more to do other then to take it to Forged or get a more powerful impact wrench. Soaked it in PB Blaster as well
I am so frustrated...
I have never had a problem this bad before.......
Does anyone else think that 120 Ft/lb. is a little excessive for that nut? I could see 80 or so.. but 120 is a lot.
Any ideas? anyone have any problems like this?

I had the same problem when i installed my BC's. I tried EVERYTHING! I ended up breaking my impact socket, so I hacked it off. Then trying to find a nut that size was a PITA. Finally ended up ordering one from my Infiniti dealer. $2.55+ a $2.00 freight charge for that nut. Good luck!
