I actually used to have the Toyo Proxes 4...on my 2001 Civic. They weren't too bad. They had good tread life for the price. Bare in mind it was in a civic. But overall, I think they were a pretty good tire for the price.

I own these Toyo tires and they are great. They replaced substantially more expensive Dunlop tires that though the offered more ‘dry’ grip were downright scary in the wet. I can tell you everything you want to know about hydroplaning. It ain’t fun at all.

One (semi) negative thing about these tires I will say though is that within the first 2 months is had to replace the front right tire twice – once my fault (idiot cut me off going the wrong way on a one-way) and another a very mysterious slow leak, however the dealer replaced the slow leaking tire no questions asked. That was a real plus for Toyo. Oh and lest anyone else forget these are all season tires, not ultimate performance tires, so set your expectations accordingly.

I have them on my SUV. No complaints. Good tread life and design.
