change springs on BC BR Coilover

I have installed BC BR coilover for over a year, but still cannot get used to the stiff ride feel. I tried to adjust the damping to the softest but cannot feel much difference. I am going to upgrade the springs to Swift and also lower the spring rate to 10k/8k. Will it make the ride quality as comfortable as the stock? Will the lower rate springs destroy the coilover?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

That should work well. However I would not have the dampers on softest. Maybe 2-3 from soft with the new springs. Dampers can handle 2-3kg difference either way

do you mean a 8k spring with hardest dampening is equal to 10-11k spring soft dampening?

Quite possible. The gen 1 came with it but gen 2 got fatter springs. So maybe. Post a pic of your rear spring and see if you have one already in your spring buckets. If not and you want to run swift rear then yes you'll need it

Thanks, that is helpful. I just checked rear bucket and it is fat spring ( bottom and top diameter is different). I think I need to buy a pair.
