Moving the top of front strut? Camber plates?
Moving the top of front strut? Camber plates?
I’ve been told that running over -5 degrees of camber in the front will cause the FUCA to touch my front strut. I know that camber plates are not made for these cars, is there any way I can move the strut inward like a camber plate does?
The G37 does not have a strut front suspension. The top of the damper is not a locating member, so moving it does nothing for suspension geometry. You'd have to cut the shock tower below the FUCA and weld it back together closer to the engine.
I am not trying to get more camber out of this, I am trying to clear the spindle from hitting my front airlift strut. With the factory control arms I am only about a half an inch away from rubbing so with my spc arms I’m barely given any room for adjustment.
The issue I’m having isn’t with the control arm but rather the spindle. The spindle comes very close to the front strut and I am trying to find a way to move the top of the strut closer to the engine bay in a similar fashion to that of a camber plate.
