Need advice on Rotors

Hello everyone,
My brake pedals have been giving a lot of vibration when applying brakes at high speeds. I had this same issue last year so thought I'd replace all the rotors which I did . Fronts were Powerstop Z23 Brake Kit + Centric Rotors for the rear. (Due to my lack of knowledge and carelessness I did not put new pads in the rear with those new Centrics)
Fast Forward to this week and one of the worn brake pads grinded the sh** out of my rear passenger rotor. So then I ordered new Wagner pads for the rear and installed them, now everytime I brake at low speeds there is a bad squeel from the brakes, maybe its the rotor that grinded or the pads are not good quality?
As for the Front Rotors, I am looking for a set of rotors and pads that will last me a while. I paid a lot for these power-stops and was very disheartened after finding out that they had warped so fast.
I only use the car for daily driving and put no more than 10,000-15,000km a year.
So if anyone can guide me in to the right direction that would much appreciated.
Also on a side note, Which tires are best with 18" sport wheels? Currently I have Michelin X Ice from winter and was thinking how much of a difference in comfort will it make with All seasons (Conti DWS or P Zero) vs my 19" sport summer wheels (which are too heavy)?

I put on dba t4000 rotors (mini slotted) and have not a single problem with warpage or brake deposits or anything. I think the slotting helped a decent amount. Using Hawk HPS 5.0 pads which are far less dust (but sadly have less bite initially). Very linear brake pad...so it's reliable in that sense.

I have hawk rotors and have been happy with them, but I don't think they are made anymore. The rears aren't going to matter as much as the front. I have Akebono ASP pads, they have been good. I think I had both done about a year ago. Now I don't know if you have the sport brakes or not. I would imagine some std centric's would be fine. The Akebonos stop pretty well and they hardly dust. My rears brakes were replaced by Infiniti before I bought the car. I have put a bit over 32k in 30 months, I probably should check to see how they are wearing. I don't get any noise from them.
As for the tires, if you want one tire for all seasons, I would say go with the DWS, but if you are going to switch them out, the Pireli will have a harder side wall and better grip. Anytime that you go from a thicker sidewall you are going improve the ride. The DWS has one of the softest sidewalls, but that effects handling. The DWS is one of the better all seasons for winter. A lot of the all seasons have been enhanced to try to be close to summer performance while still using rubber that grips much better in a cold climate. I have Michelin AS3+ which probably last just as long as the PS4+ in a warm climate like California.

Did you apply lube to the back of the pads? I never do that, but I hear that helps.
After you replaced the pads, that bad rotor...did you replace it? Or have it re-surfaced? Or left it as-is?
I don't understand. You replaced all the rotors and put new pads on the front. Then later you re-did pads on the fronts? Why?

I can't help but getting a chuckle every time I read a post such as yours getting screwed by using aftermarket crappy parts coupled with the inexperience of proper brake maintenance. I learned my lesson many many years ago to leave jobs such as this to the pros at the dealer. Dealer labor is more expensive due mainly to proper training and the higher wages and benefits paid. Using higher quality parts are also more expensive.
When one buys cheap one usually ends up buying twice, paying more in the end including the aggravation and lost time.
Good luck to you

I just replace on my 08 G35X with these
https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...56&jsn=1&jsn=1
BREMBO 09B26611
And so far I am really happy with the quality - all coated and high carbon rotors. Also went with the matching Brembo pads but they do dust up faster than OEM.

On my previous 06 G35 6 speed manual the first time the pads were replaced was also at 86k miles. at the dealer. They turned the rotors at that time and I never had another problem with brakes.. Those pads and rotors were still on the vehicle with 4mm left when I traded it in at 171796 miles for my 2012 G37S. The original pads and rotors were on that vehicle when I traded it in for my present Q70 at 95k miles.. My local Infiniti dealer charges $279.00 for the front and $279.00 for the rear that includes turning the rotors.

Hold on, Your trying to laugh at people doing work themselves while you are getting raped at the dealer? Dealer labor is expensive because they find fools who will pay it day in and day out.
As far as parts, thats on the buyer. Buy quality parts, do the work yourself, pay less that 1/2 what the dealer will rape you for and have better parts on your car. It's win win.

You could spend countless hours..days...weeks researching what you want to do as there is a wide array of options. OEM are very good and if maintained properly will last a long time, can't go wrong if its a daily driver. Admittedly I like to tinker with pads/rotors and try out different options. Really the key thing is to either have them professionally installed and maintained or to know how to DIY and maintain things properly. If your rotors are causing problems you can have them checked by a local shop usually for a few bucks to see if they just need turned (resurfaced) cheap and easy. Reinstall, put on new pads, make sure all your brake hardware is properly lubricated so that all functions properly and then follow bed-in procedure for the pads. Then give them a quick check whenever you change your oil, rotate tires, or just for the heck of it. I learned the hard way once when I got lazy and neglected to check on things, I had a slide pin on my sport caliper get stuck due rust and dust build up. That kept one pad frozen to the rotor, fortunately I caught it before it was a big problem, but it did require a premature replacement.
Also FWIW I have dba T3 4000 series slotted rotors mated with Hawk HPS pads. I like them, they stop well, and look good. I've also had StopTech drilled & slotted rotors with Hawk HPS 5.0 pads, also were very good. I can't honestly say any of these compared to OEM is exponentially better, especially for a daily driver. Just depends on what you want out of your brakes functionally, visually, and monetarily.
